The Perlemoen Minutes

Six of eleven images from the series based on local politics in my home village. A proposal to start a perlemoen (abalone) farm on adjacent land caused bitter conflict between those who wanted the development, and those who didn't. Eventually it was turned down, but the factional hostility endured.

Hand-coloured woodcuts (sold)

72 x 54 cm.

Limited monochrome prints available, on Fabriano Rosaspino cream paper.

R4,000 per print.

Unique Landscapes
Individual pieces, each relatively large scale, not printed. The places were all seen on journeys in the Transkei; I allowed the medium to dictate the interpretation.
Hand-coloured woodcut (sold).
Angels on the Road
